Dan Brown meets DS

I have been playing Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templar for DS and it totally reminds me of a Dan Brown novel.  The setting is modern day Paris and there is a murderer on the loose.  You play an attractive young journalist who is discovering her own past as well as solving the murder mystery.  Along the way she meets a young man traveling alone who helps her along the way.  If Robert Langdon shows up before the end, then I will really be convinced.  The game play is pretty good and the controls aren’t obnoxious, which is a change from some of the other games I have played recently.

Why is it that DS games are either terrible or great in the controls department?
